The BreughelPro typeface which was created in 1981 by Adrian Frutiger. My idea was to base my specimen book on an art event from 1981. Specifically Blek Le rats creation of stencil graffiti that later inspired artists like Banksy. The idea was to have grunge and exterior looking spreads to really invoke a Graffiti style. I used different photographs and made them look as close to stencil art as possible. I also used bright red splatters and backgrounds as Blek Le rats art often had bright splashes of primary colors. The point of this book was to contrast a typeface with elegant flair and a grungy style.
